چکیده

ABSTRACT Introduction: Aerobic gymnastics is a sport that involves sense of beauty, rhythm and dance, with high artistic expressiveness, characteristics have favored strong population adherence. It believed the specific flexibility exercise can add greater visual impact to their movements, raising competitive performance. Objective: Verify impacts lower limb on performance aerobics athletes. Methods: Six athletes were selected perform an 8-week experiment, adopting PNF methodology for training. The measured before after these data analyzed studied statistically. Results: results long jump in physical quality index increased by 0.1209 m; added value two-minute, 10-m backstroke test was 1.46. movement indexes showed expressive increases: flexion 2.62; right angle support 0.78; split leg 1.95; standing eyes closed foot balance 4.63. Conclusion: Lower positively aerobic Level evidence II; Therapeutic studies - investigation treatment outcomes.

Evaluation of fatigue of respiratory and lower limb muscles during prolonged aerobic exercise.

The respiratory muscles may fatigue during prolonged exercises and thereby become a factor that limits extreme physical activity. The aim of the current study was to determine whether respiratory muscle fatigue imposes a limitation on extreme physical activity of well-trained young men. Electromyography (EMG) signals of respiratory (external intercostal and sternomastoid) and calf muscles (gast...

Anti-gravity treadmill can promote aerobic exercise for lower limb osteoarthritis patients

[Purpose] The anti-gravity treadmill (Alter-G®) allows the load on the lower limbs to be adjusted, which is considered useful for patients with lower limb osteoarthritis. The aim of the present study was to examine the effects of aerobic exercise using an anti-gravity treadmill in patients with lower limb osteoarthritis by using a cardiopulmonary exercise load monitoring system. [Subjects and M...

A Cyclic Robot for Lower Limb Exercise

This paper presents the design and simulation of a cyclic robot for lower-limb exercise robots. The robot is designed specifically for cyclic motions and the high power nature of lower-limb interaction—as such, it breaks from traditional robotics wisdom by intentionally traveling through singularities and incorporating large inertia. Such attributes lead to explicit design considerations. Resul...
